As a warm and down-to-earth therapist, my approach is to offer a non-judgmental space where you can unpack and heal from the painful parts of your life so that you don’t have to carry that weight forever. My combined 20 years of experience in inpatient, outpatient, medical, forensic and educational settings have been centered on supporting a wide range of people in every stage of life, from various racial & ethnic backgrounds, income and education levels and diverse sexual and gender identities. I believe that healing ourselves is an integral aspect of fighting to improve the world around us. In my private practice as a certified EMDR therapist, I primarily work to help people recover from trauma and improve their lives and relationships. I additionally work a great deal with Highly Sensitive People (HSPs), helping them learn to thrive and create ideal lifestyles. Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (compulsive skin picking and hair pulling disorders) are also behavioral issues I help people heal from and reduce shame around.
