Danielle Melton

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, I offer individual support for all adult women coping with anxiety, depression, relational issues, trauma, burnout, phobias, grief and loss. I believe change occurs in the context of a supportive, trusting therapeutic relationship where clients feel seen, heard and attuned to their chosen counselor. I believe in the importance of fostering client safety by creating an environment where my clients can be themselves. I believe the relationship between client and therapist is the foundation on which therapy builds. Together with my clients, we develop trust, empathy, and alliance. I trust the wisdom that lies within each of my clients, and I believe therapy is an art. I adapt the treatment to meet the needs of each individual. I am EMDR Certified through EMDRIA and also have been trained in AF EMDR by Dr. Laurel Parnell. I spent 7 years under the Supervision and Mentorship of AF EMDR Faculty Member, Sonja Rudie, MA, LMHC, PhD Candidate.
