Amy Rosenthal, LCSW

Currently a consultant and facilitator for the Parnell Institute, I have been certified in EMDR since 2004. My private practice is located in New York City, where I have been practicing psychotherapy for three decades. I specialize in helping adults who have developmental trauma and PTSD; attachment trauma from early childhood to present; as well as relationship struggles, anxiety, depression, chronic stress, and dissociation. Throughout my career, I have continued to learn various modalities based in the belief that we all have an innate capacity to heal. Originally certified as a psychoanalyst, I have also been trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and several other mind/body-based therapies. I believe that one size does not fit all, and collaboration with my clients is key to transformation and healing. In addition to providing AF-EMDR for adults, I also offer individual and group consultation.
