It has been my privilege & honor to give back to my individuals, couples & families what had been given to me: psychological, emotional, mental, spiritual and physical health and healing! I do not take lightly what has been given to me: the privilege & honor to be invited into my clients’ hearts and lives. My goals are to make therapy a "safe place" by welcoming my clients with empathy, validation, affirmation, assistance and tender care (the way we all want to be treated). I strive to make therapy an experience of renewal and transformation! I have been trauma-trained in standard EMDR and more recently, AF-EMDR (Attachment-Focused-Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Training which has transformed the lives of my clients and TRM (Trauma Resiliency Model) to help with the somatic effects of trauma. In addition, I have also been trained in Emotionally-Focused Therapy, play, expressive and Sandtray therapy. I have also helped clients who struggle with boundaries, relational difficulties, codependency, coping skills, parenting, suicide, betrayal, low self-esteem and domestic violence. I strive to perfect my skills to offer my clients my best self and that is why I continue to work towards certification through consultation and study. In addition, I strive for my own psychological, emotional, mental, spiritual and physical healing. I also offer faith-based counseling.
