Emily Cressy

I am a licensed clinical social worker practicing in Portland, Maine and Brooklyn, NY as well as remotely throughout Maine, New York, and Illinois. In my queer, trans, poly, and ace affirming practice, I offer traditional talk therapy, attachment-focused EMDR, and outdoor walking sessions for individual adults. My treatment approach is sex-positive, grounded in social and racial justice, and centered on the dignity and worth of each individual. Together, we can clarify the changes that are most important to you, identify barriers to growth, work toward personal acceptance, and break negative thought patterns.
