Kristi Dechairo Ahern

Hello, my name is Kristi and I work with adults of all ages in the Los Feliz and surrounding Los Angeles areas. I believe everyone can benefit from therapy and therapy can be a place for self-exploration, and also a place where one feels completely accepted and free to fully express who they are without judgement. I work with both individuals and couples providing an holistic, collaborative approach in our work together. I specialize in helping adults heal from trauma, grief/loss, anxiety, life transitions, and relationship issues. I am a Certified Grief Counselor and when working with couples I utilize both the Gottman Method and Emotionally-Focused therapy. Some of my other approaches include- CBT, Mindfulness, Compassionate Inquiry, AF-EMDR, and Somatic work. I believe in creating a safe, supportive space where we can get to the root of the problem and begin the healing process.
