Pat Gallagher

I'm a consultant for the Parnell Institute and an EMDRIA-approved therapist and consultant. I specialize in helping people heal from trauma. I am experienced in dealing with childhood traumas, including physical and sexual abuse, neglect, and emotional deficits, as well as more recent events such as accidents, rape, and other frightening experiences. I have a particular interest in working with people who experienced developmental/relational trauma. I am also a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) and I am trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Clinical Hypnosis, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. I have a certificate in psychoanalysis from the Manhattan Institute for Psychoanalysis. I'm a former faculty member and consultant for the National Institute for the Psychotherapies' Integrative Trauma Treatment Program. I have a private practice in Manhattan and I am available for individual and group supervision.
