Robin Blackwell, LCSW

I received my MSW from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1999 and relocated to Albuquerque, NM in 2000. I have experience treating substance use disorders, anxiety, depression and trauma. I approach my work from a client-centered perspective with specific attention to attachment and relational awareness. I deeply value the importance of connection and safety and feel it is necessary for meaningful and productive work with my clients. My guiding belief is that resolution of trauma allows us to live in the present moment and that we must hold that moment with an open hand.
